With our 6 box Kintex Sport Tape you can prevent injuries to ligaments, muscles and joints and treat existing problems such as sprains, torn capsules or overstretched ligaments. Movement sequences are stabilized and your resilience will increase with the help of Kintex Sport Tape.
The tape is made of non-elastic cotton fabric and can be easily removed by hand in either the transverse or longitudinal direction. A previous shave of the pasted skin areas guarantees best adhesion. The tape can be applied for a longer period of time, as allergic reactions are rare. In case of doubt, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Sprains, overextensions or even torn ligaments are often stabilized with the help of inelastic sports tape to support the joint. In the past, this type of joint support was only available in white, whereas today different colours are used.
The cotton fabric is coated on the underside with a skin-friendly Hot-Melt-Glue. The sports tape can be torn off both lengthwise and crosswise, which makes it easier to use. Before treatment, it is recommended to shave the adhesive areas and to clean and degrease the skin. Shaving makes the later removal of the sports tape less painful.
The many areas of application cover almost all sports. For example, a volleyball player can fix his finger joints with the sports tape to avoid a sprain or even a capsule tear. In football, tennis, basketball, squash or even in alpine sports, the ankle joints are often stabilised.
The sports tape should not be confused with the kinesiology tape, which has a completely different nature and function. Of course, the Kinesiology Tape is also used in the sports sector, whereby the load-bearing capacity, e.g. in the case of a torn muscle fibre or tendon overload, should be increased. This is achieved by lifting the skin underneath the Kinesiology Tape by means of the wave-shaped adhesive and the lengthwise elastic material. Sport tape, on the other hand, is only used to fix the joints and ligaments.
Please consult your doctor or therapist for a specific application technique.
