Our skin-friendly grid tapes are used for existing blockages, pain or on scars.* The tapes have a grid shape and are free of drugs and active substances.
Application comfort and duration
Due to the particularly strong and yet skin-friendly acrylic adhesive, our patches offer a pleasant wearing comfort and are no longer perceived as annoying after just a few minutes. You can shower, bathe, swim or do sports with the tape on.
The Cross Tapes should remain on for about 1 week, with the main effect expected in the first 3-5 days after application. Allergic reactions rarely occur with the application of the tape, these are mostly caused by a current medication intake or intensified by simultaneous alcohol or nicotine consumption. Before applying the Cross Tape, the skin must be thoroughly cleaned and freed from dirt and grease. By moving the joints and muscles, you first look for the pain, trigger, or acupuncture point and then stick the tape on this spot. Cross tapes are also used as scar tape, where the patches are applied directly to the scar.
Do not apply to open wounds or bleeding areas of the body. Do not use on skin diseases and irritations of the skin. Remove the tape immediately in case of skin reactions, such as itching or redness.

What do the different colors mean?
Kintex Cross Tapes are available in 3 different colors.
Basically, the choice of colors plays a rather minor role, even though the colors can be used supportively for therapy. According to kinesiology color theory, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the color pink is considered activating, blue cooling and beige neutral. Many physiotherapists leave the choice of tape color to their patients.
The reason for this is simple: the patient should feel comfortable with the tape and not find it disturbing.
