Since 2010, the company Apaloo GmbH has been developing and producing kinesiology tapes under the Kintex brand. Founder Andreas Jetter originally came from a completely different field: he used to work as a sports and computer science teacher. The idea to spread the effect of kinesiology tapes and to start his own production came to him in August 2010. After an accident in which he broke his 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae, he was treated in rehabilitation with the help of kinesiology tapes, among other things. He recognized the potential of this treatment method, which was still new at the time, without drugs or active ingredients.

Initially, the product is only offered via Internet platforms such as eBay and Amazon, and later also in the company's own online store www.kintex.de. However, many users lack German-language instructions on how end customers can apply the tape themselves. Andreas provided a remedy with the help of mini-guides and video clips on YouTube: simple installation techniques, easy to understand, for re-taping. This has resulted in over 40 video guides in the last few years. More are planned for 2023. Kintex continues to expand its product diversity. Our company is now also a manufacturer of medical products and sporting goods for partners and companies, both on the German market and internationally.

Developement

In exchange with customers and partners we try to develop innovative and sustainable products. Through globalization and the internet it is easy to get knowledge today, but only the combination with the experience of daily trading gives the mixture to develop products further or new.
