Kintex Cross Tape Pink A
Free color and size selection
Cross tapes are often applied to pain points or so-called trigger points in acupuncture or physiotherapy. The grid patches are intended to release existing blockages and pain.
For this tape application you need a tape strip in the shape of an I. For this you can either use our Kintex Classic Tape and cut the strips yourself or you can use our Kintex PreCut Tape and tear the tape strips accordingly. You will also need a Kintex Cross Tape, these are available in sizes A to C.
Measure the length of the tape according to the scar. When cutting the tape, make sure that you round off the corners, this will increase the adhesion of the tape.
Preparation and application of Kintex Kinesiology Tape
To ensure better adhesion, you should first remove all oils, creams and hair from the affected area and also clean it with alcohol.
In the first step, apply the Cross Tapes in the course of the scar. Note that it is best to stick the cross tapes directly to each other so that they do not overlap.
Then apply the Kinesiology Tape over the scarred area where the Cross Tapes are already and apply the Kinesiology Tape with moderate tension. The ends of the tape should extend without pulling. The "rule of thirds" applies here, i.e. 1/3 without tension, 1/3 with tension, 1/3 without tension.
Instructions for the use of Kintex kinesiology tape.
Kintex Tape should be left on for approximately 1 week, with the main effect expected in the first 3-5 days after application. You can shower, bathe, swim or do sports with the tape applied. Even sweating is possible under the tape.
