In physiotherapy or rehabilitation, the bands are used to improve mobility and flexibility.

Due to the two included loops, you can fold the bands compactly after training and store them space-saving. You can take your new fitness equipment anywhere and set it up where you prefer to train. For example, you can attach it to a tree and train outside in the park or garden. But also at home in your own four walls you will surely find a good place for the next training session. We offer you 3 different resistance bands. The bands differ in the width of the bands and the resulting resistances. The respective colors serve you for orientation and for a better differentiation of the respective resistances/strengths.
Depending on the area of application and current fitness level, you can decide which band is the right one for you. For beginners, it is recommended to start with the light band and to increase gradually after the first training successes.

The specified dimensions refer to the original condition of the tapes and not to the condition under tension/stretching of the tapes.
Our resistance bands are characterized by their dimensional stability and robustness. They are specially designed for high loads and allow a smooth workout with your own body weight. The skin-friendly bands meet the highest quality requirements to enable professional training. Attention: If used incorrectly, the bands can also tear quickly. During a training exercise, this can lead to painful experiences.
Our tip: The resistance band can be attached to doors, trees and other objects. However, the objects used should not be too sharp or angular, if possible, to avoid tearing the bands. Ideally, the training device can be attached to a rounded bar.
The bands should not be exposed to direct UV radiation, excessive heat and cold, and extreme humidity. You can clean the fitness bands with lukewarm water and PH neutral soap.
Allergic skin reactions when using resistance bands are usually very rare. If you experience allergic reactions, such as skin rash, itching or eye irritation, you should refrain from exercising with the latex bands. In case of doubt, please contact a specialist or pharmacist.

Application time
The duration of application of the kinesiology tape is approximately one week, with the main effect occurring in the first 3-5 days after application.
Only a few minutes after the application of the tape, it is no longer perceived as disturbing and therefore there is no restriction of activities due to the tape bandage.
Swimming, bathing, showering or doing sports is possible with the bandage without any problems. The breathable material of the tape allows sweating and allows the skin underneath to breathe.

Discovered and developed in Japan in the 1970s, Kinesiology Tape is now indispensable in competitive sports, but also in the hobby and amateur sector. The tape made of cotton is comfortable to wear and very versatile in its applications.
On the underside of the tape, the adhesive is applied in a wavy S-structure, which makes the tape particularly adaptable and stretchable. This allows the tape to adapt optimally to the structures of the human body and lays like a second layer of skin over the muscles and joints.

Basically, the selection of colors plays a rather subordinate role in taping on the human body, even if the colors can be used supportively for therapy.
According to kinesiology color theory, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the colors red and pink are considered activating, blue and green are cooling, black and dark blue are strengthening and beige and yellow are neutral. Many physical therapists leave the choice of tape color up to their patient.
The reason for this is simple: the patient should feel comfortable with the tape and not find it disturbing.

Checklist for taping
- Remove any hair from the area to be taped
- Remove dirt and grease from the skin
- Avoid body lotion or body oils on the area to be taped
- Round off the corners of the tape
- Do not touch the adhesive surface during the taping process
- Apply the tape about 2-3 hours before sporting activities
- Carefully apply the finished tape
- Put on clothes carefully
- Gently blow dry wet tape
- Remove with water or cooking oil
Application
When applying the tape, it is essential not to touch the adhesive surface. The adhesive reacts to heat and is activated by it.
Due to the stretching of the tape strip, the tape tears in the middle and the backing paper comes off. Now the tape can be applied without touching the adhesive surface.
