Our sensitive therapy tape is especially suitable for patients with sensitive skin. The skin-friendly tape is also suitable for tape installations on the face or for children.
Our cotton tape is woven extra thin and is highly stretchable. It adapts to the body and muscles and is like a second layer of skin. The kinesiology tape is breathable, latex-free, elastic and water-resistant.
Comfort and duration of application
A few minutes after applying the tape, it is no longer perceived as a nuisance and therefore there is no restraint or restriction of activities due to the tape bandage. Swimming, bathing, showering or doing sports is possible with the bandage without any problems. The breathable material of the tape allows sweating and allows the skin underneath to breathe.
The duration of application of the skin-friendly tape is about 2-4 days.
Allergic reactions rarely occur with the application of the tape, these are mostly caused by current medication or intensified by simultaneous alcohol or nicotine consumption. In case of doubt, please consult a doctor or pharmacist.

What do the different colors mean?
Kintex Sensitive Tapes are currently available in beige and green.
Basically, the choice of colors plays a rather subordinate role, even if the colors can be used supportively for therapy. According to kinesiology color theory, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the color green is considered cooling and beige neutral. Many physiotherapists leave the choice of tape color to their patients. The reason for this is simple: the patient should feel comfortable with the tape and not find it disturbing.
Tips and tricks
When applying the tape, it is essential not to touch the adhesive surface. The adhesive reacts to heat and is activated by it. Due to the stretching of the tape strip, the tape tears in the middle and the backing paper comes off. Now the tape can be applied without touching the adhesive surface.
The Kintex Kinesiology Tape is pre-stretched by 10 % on the backing paper. This means that when you apply a tape without additional tension, pre-stretch is already present.
